Being Responsible

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players

– William Shakespeare

According to William Shakespeare our life is like role play everyone plays a role in someone’s life . The wellbeing of their life is our responsibility. For example; parents are responsible for the upbringing of their child.

Responsibility is one of the most important aspects of a human existence and personality. It is responsibility for one’s actions that makes a human.
Social responsibility is important and plays a great role in every sphere of our life . So if we want to live a prosperous and developing society each member of a community has his /her own responsibilities and duties towards himself and towards others which he has to fulfill to keep the cooperative spirit and to keep a balance not only to people but also between people and nature.

We all run away from our responsibilities , because it is our nature to do so. Have you ever observed that whenever something goes wrong either in the society or in the family , we tend to ask “who is/are responsible for this actions”. When there is a man who needs help we always have a thought that ” others will help”. These thoughts create lack of trust in the society . We need to realise our mistake and we need to be responsible for it.

As a nationalist we must take up some responsibility for our developing nation let’s not depend on others. Before taking up such task we need to make sure whether we are capable of handling them . Like I told before it is our nature to run away from our responsibilities , so what if something goes wrong , to e blame it to others telling that they were responsible for it . There is a difference between blaming and assigning responsibilities to others.

The only organisation I know who takes a lot of responsibilities is our army at the borders. Let us be thankful for them

Being Nationalist

Being a nationalist as the humans is pride for us. Nationalism means rising about narrow identities of caste, religion and regions to feel a deep sense of pride in our nation. Our country does not practice any sense of discrimination to any citizen as they enjoy all rights and privileges. It is the duty of all of us to faster the unity and integrity of India by a sense of nationalism that transcends all barriers of region, religion and language. It was this overriding spirit of nationalism that won India freedom from the British after years of hard struggle and innumerable sacrifices. Only a deep rooted feeling of nationalism can save India from any further division in the name of right to self determination in Kashmir or insurgent movements in North-East India. If we become nationalist of India we will get responsible for taking care of our nation. Being a nationalist is the feeling which gives courage and strength to the soldiers to guard the borders of their country. Indians have a deep sense of nationalism and this is the reason why they always stand untied when it comes to respecting and honouring their national flag, national anthem and national symbols, which all leads towards preservation of the unity and integrity of the country.

Nationalism

Nationalism is an ideology and movement that promotes the interests of a particular nation (as in a group of people)especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation’s self-governanace over its homeland. Nationalism holds that each nation should govern itself, free from outside interference self-determination, that a nation is a natural and ideal basis for a polity, and that the nation is the only rightful source of political power. It further aims to build and maintain a single national identity—based on shared social characteristics such as culture, language, religion, politics, and belief in a shared singular history and to promote national unity or solidarity Nationalism, therefore, seeks to preserve and foster a nation’s traditional culture, and cultural revivals have been associated with nationalist movements. It also encourages pride in national achievements, and is closely linked to patroitism. Nationalism is often combined with other ideologies, such as conservatism or socialism.

Throughout history, people have had an attachment to their kin group and traditions, to territorial authorities and to their homeland, but nationalism did not become a widely-recognized concept until the 18th century. There are three paradigms for understanding the origins and basis of nationalism. Primordalism proposes that there have always been nations and that nationalism is a natural phenomenon. Ethnosymolism explains nationalism as a dynamic, evolutionary phenomenon and stresses the importance of symbols, myths and traditions in the development of nations and nationalism. Mordernism proposes that nationalism is a recent social phenomenon that needs the socio-economic structures of modern society to exist.

There are various definitions of a “nation”, however, which leads to different stands of nationalism. Ethnic nationalism defines the nation in terms of shared ethnicity, heritage and culture, while Civil nationalism defines the nation in terms of shared citizenship, values and institutions, and is linked to consitutional patriotism. The adoption of national identity in terms of historical development has often been a response by influential groups unsatisfied with traditional identities due to mismatch between their defined social order and the experience of that social order by its members, resulting in an anomie that nationalists seek to resolve. This anomie results in a society reinterpreting identity, retaining elements deemed acceptable and removing elements deemed unacceptable, to create a unified community. This development may be the result of internal structural issues or the result of resentment by an existing group or groups towards other communities, especially foreign powers that are (or are deemed to be) controlling them.

One of the Nationalist

Nationalist refers to anything associated with or part of nationalism. Nationalism is a political ideology that can be described from political, sociological and psychological perspectives.

Donald Trump
DONALD TRUMP

U.S. President Donald Trump addressed a crowd during a rally in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 22, 2018, in which he declared “I’m a nationalist.

When President Donald Trump declared himself as aNationalist on Oct. 22, 2018, the gasps that emanated from many segments of the American population were equaled only by the chants that erupted in the Texas arena in which the president spoke.

Using that term and the ideology known as nationalism has that kind of effect in a country so split along ideological fault lines. Nationalism is a word many associate with Nazis and racists, anti-immigration and the far right. But it is one, to others, that means something much less sinister, something noble: a pride in country above all else.

NATIONALISM

Nationalism is an ideology and movement that promotes the interests of a particular nation (as in a group of people) especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation’s sovereignty (self-governance) over its homeland. Nationalism holds that each nation should govern itself, free from outside interference (self-determination), that a nation is a natural and ideal basis for a polity, and that the nation is the only rightful source of political power (popular sovereignty). It further aims to build and maintain a single national identity—based on shared social characteristics such as culture, language, religion, politics, and belief in a shared singular historyand to promote national unity or solidarity. Nationalism, therefore, seeks to preserve and foster a nation’s traditional culture, and cultural revivals have been associated with nationalist movements. It also encourages pride in national achievements, and is closely linked to patriotism.Nationalism is often combined with other ideologies, such as conservatism (national conservatism) or socialism (socialist nationalism) for example.

Throughout history, people have had an attachment to their kin group and traditions, to territorial authorities and to their homeland, but nationalism did not become a widely-recognized concept until the 18th century. There are three paradigms for understanding the origins and basis of nationalism. Primordialism (perennialism) proposes that there have always been nations and that nationalism is a natural phenomenon. Ethnosymbolism explains nationalism as a dynamic, evolutionary phenomenon and stresses the importance of symbols, myths and traditions in the development of nations and nationalism. Modernism proposes that nationalism is a recent social phenomenon that needs the socio-economic structures of modern society to exist.

There are various definitions of a “nation”, however, which leads to different strands of nationalism. Ethnic nationalism defines the nation in terms of shared ethnicity, heritage and culture, while civic nationalism defines the nation in terms of shared citizenship, values and institutions, and is linked to constitutional patriotism. This development may be the result of internal structural issues or the result of resentment by an existing group or groups towards other communities, especially foreign powers that are (or are deemed to be) controlling them.National symbols and flags, national anthems, national languages, national myths and other symbols of national identity are highly important in nationalism.

In practice, nationalism can be seen as positive or negative depending on context and individual outlook. Nationalism has been an important driver in independence movements, such as the Greek Revolution, the Irish Revolution, the Zionist movement that created modern Israel, and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Conversely, radical nationalism combined with racial hatred was also a key factor in the Holocaust perpetrated by Nazi Germany.More recently, nationalism was an important driver of the controversial annexation of Crimea by Russia.

NATIONALIST

ARTICLE CONTENTS

Nationalism

Nationalism, ideology based on the premise that the individual’s loyalty and devotion to the nation-state surpass other individual or group interests.

This article discusses the origins and history of nationalism to the 1980s. For later developments in the history of nationalism, see 20th-century international relations; European Union; and Euroskepticism.

The Modern Nature Of Nationalism

Nationalism is a modern movement. Throughout history people have been attached to their native soil, to the traditions of their parents, and to established territorial authorities, but it was not until the end of the 18th century that nationalism began to be a generally recognized sentiment molding public and private life and one of the great, if not the greatest, single determining factors of modern history. Because of its dynamic vitality and its all-pervading character, nationalism is often thought to be very old; sometimes it is mistakenly regarded as a permanent factor in political behaviour. Actually, the American and French revolutions may be regarded as its first powerful manifestations. After penetrating the new countries of Latin America, it spread in the early 19th century to central Europe and from there, toward the middle of the century, to eastern and southeastern Europe. At the beginning of the 20th century, nationalism flowered in Asia and Africa. Thus, the 19th century has been called the age of nationalism in Europe, while the 20th century witnessed the rise and struggle of powerful national movements throughout Asia and Africa

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
